About Motherly Love Foundation Orphanage

Motherly Love foundation is an Orphanage home of children living and personally affected with HIV and AIDS. The home exists to empower and give hope to these vulnerable children who are facing stigma and discrimination from their communities, society and their families as a whole. The founder, Rev John Azumah has been living with the HIV virus for the past 22 years and he is an HIV and AIDS Ambassador for the republic of Ghana. The home has been in existence since 2008 and has been registered with the Registrar General Department and the Social welfare department of Ghana. The home is located at Kwabenya Aboum junction near Breaking Chains Bible Ministry International. The home has 58 children of which 33 are females and 25 are males, ranging from 5 years to 22 years.

Motherly love started in Klagon-Lashibi with just three children but now has 58 children in total. The home began to expand as more kids were received. These children were mostly brought in by relatives, churches, hospitals, social welfare. The Home then relocated to Kwabenya because the structure at Klagon could not accommodate the increasing number of children. At Kwabenya, the number continued to increase and currently 58.
